This is the 3rd version of the 6th Central Surrey group website. On the front it is similar to the previous one in how it functions, but most of the site has been coded from scratch again.

The site was originally created in 2006 in an attempt to keep communication smooth in the Venturer group, as the telephone certainly wasn't up for the task. It started with a small place to post announcements and events, with 11 users (the Venturer group of 2006-07).

Since then it has been rebuilt a couple of times: Firstly when the new Rover crew formed and there needed to be a way for both the Rovers and Venturers to use the site without interfering with eachothers ability to find information relevant to their section. At this point the site was modified to be able to accomodate the entire 6th Central group. And more recently, the site was recoded again, given a new (slightly) improved look, new layouts for a few pages, and more maintainable code. The main focus remains on functionality rather than fancy graphics

This was started in April 2009 and after many lengthy delays, finished nearly a year later.
